The unveiling ceremony took place on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the company’s Nigerian head office in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom state.

Making the announcement, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Edidiong Udoidiong, said the unveiling of Ini Edo as Capital Luxury brand ambassador is a significant milestone for the company, as it reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing luxury products and services that meet the needs of teeming and would-be clients. This, according to him, is in a bid to position the company to meet global standards, with an individual who will further expand the frontiers of the conglomerate.

Ini, a native of Akwa Ibom state, is a well-known actress, entrepreneur, producer and philanthropist. She made her debut in her acting career in 2000 with the movie ‘Thick Madam’ and has since appeared in uncountable movies, which has earned her numerous awards. Her recent feat is the blockbuster ‘Shanty Town’, where she performed as actor and producer of the 2023 Nigerian crime thriller released on Netflix.

Quoting the release by Mr Udoidiong, ‘Ini Edo’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence aligns with Capital Luxury’s vision and mission, coupled with the successes she has recorded in the movie industry and her role as an ambassador for multinationals,which influenced the choice to have her as the face of the brand’.

In her response, Ini thanked CAPITAL LUXURY boss and his team for finding her worthy to represent the brand, she assured the company of her loyalty to further increase the spread and acceptance of the company’s products and services to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, by deploying efficient strategies to deliver the brand messages using all channels available at her disposal.

“I am really excited about this deal, I have a following of about 20 million on instagram, I will use that and other platforms to tell everybody about Capital Luxury” she said.

The occasion was witnessed by the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin and his Ministry of Environment counterpart, Sir Charles Udoh.

Mr Esin in his remarks, commended Mr Udoidiong for bringing such huge investment home, and pledged the support of the state government to enable a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
