There has been remarkable progress at the Ikot Oku Ikono Flyover bridge and the Uyo-Etinan dual carriage way, as well as the Etinan-Ndon Eyo road
This much was noted by the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Sir Charles Udoh, Thursday morning, when he led members of the State Information Management Team on a project inspection visit to road projects.
There was progress made at the flyover bridge, the cable bridge at Ekpene Ukpa as well as the Ikot Akpan Ishiet/Mkpok axis where the construction company WE, workers were seen intensifying work on the piling of the bridges pillars.
The Commissioner for Information said the visits have ensured that people are regularly updated with the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The flyover bridge, handled by International construction giants, Julius Berger, which commenced last year, is expected to be completed next year.
Similarly, the Uyo – Etinan dual carriage road which is also handled by Julius Berger is currently at Mbioto 1, with significant progress towards Ikot Ekan junction.
