The Royal Arts Academy (RAA), on Monday, March 9, 2020, commenced academic session in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Uyo Campus located at 3 Utang Lane off Brooks Street, Uyo had new students vying for various courses.
Script Writing, Editing, Acting, and Cinematography are some of the courses to be offered in the 3-month certificate programme.
This will be the second campus of Royal Arts Academy in Nigeria, the first, located in Lagos.
The teachers who came from Lagos to kickstart lectures at the Uyo branch are @timber.emelobe, @opeyemidada and @anthony.k.joseph.
Established in June 2010, Royal Arts Academy (RAA) is poised to educate and equip students for the growing entertainment industry and life opportunities in Nigeria and Africa at large.
With a vision to provide conducive environment for training in the art of filmmaking, as well as provide a platform for interaction between like minds to discover and develop new and emerging talents, and promote the art of filmmaking, Royal Arts Academy seeks to provide continuing education through the Arts and training in Acting, directing, dance and children’s theatre.
Over 2,500 people have been trained so far by the Academy since its establishment in 2010
