Akpabio To Commission Constituency Projects
The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, will on Saturday commission some constituency projects he executed for the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
A release signed by the Special Assistant on media to the Senate Minority Leader, Mr Anietie Ekong, said some of the projects to be commissioned include open store at the Timber Market Utu Edem Usung and solar powered borehole project at Ibiakpan Ikot Obio Ekere both in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
Other projects to be commissioned by Senator Akpabio are Solar water borehole with one kilometer radius reticulation at Mbiabong Ikon village, Open market stores at Obo market, Oduk and Classroom blocks at Ibiaku Ntok Okpo all in Ikono Local Government Area.
At Ini Local Government Area Senator Akpabio will inaugurate open market stores at Urua Ofiongaran and 4 classroom blocks at Ukwuok.
In Abak Local Government Area the Senate Minority Leader will commission Open Stores Market at Urua Akpan Ibom, Midim and Two solar powered bore hole water projects at Ebibit Afaha Obong and Ikot Akpan Idem.
The commissioning of the projects will be followed by inspection of road under construction at Mbiabong Ikot Udofia in Ini Local Government Area.
According to Mr Ekong, the dates for the second phase of the commissioning of more than 50 other constituency projects executed by Senator Akpabio across the 10 Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District will be announced in due course.
