Murray Never Forced Me To Kneel Before Him –Woman Speaks Out
Contrary to claims by some social media commentators that the member representing Uyo State Constituency at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Eyo, forced a woman to kneel before him, the said woman has urged that her gesture should not be misinterpreted as she did it on her own volition in appreciation.
She said Murray, as the Lawmaker is fondly called, was not arrogant as insinuated by many commentators but bewildered by her gesture, even as she mentioned he (Murray) tried to stop her but to no avail.
Speaking with journalists, she described the claim as baseless, saying that she was carried away by her emotions which prompted her to go on her knees to pray for God’s blessings on the Lawmaker.
According to her, “I was left with just N1000 which was not enough to cater for my household, but when Hon Monday gave me the money, I went on my knees in appreciation and poured prayers on Murray for the kind gesture given me.”
She further explained that it was due to the Lawmaker’s unending show of kindness and love towards her and her household.
Owing to the biting economy hardship in country, a person who was in a dire need, would go on the knees and can even prostrate in appreciation at receiving a mere gift of N1000.
It is only a hardless fellow who will not help anyone in need, that would think negatively when someone kneels in Thanksgiving.
Murray is known for his kind gesture and service for humanity.
