Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, in a minor cabinet reshuffle, has appointed Prof. Victor Daniel Bassey Inoka as Commissioner in the State Ministry of Education, replacing Pastor Paul Alexanda Udofia.
The Governor made the change on Wednesday in Government House Banquet Hall, Uyo, where a new ministry was also created.
The new Ministry of Labour, Productivity and Manpower Planning, has newly sworn-in Sir Ibanga Ime Akpabio, as Commissioner.
Until their appointments, Sir Ibanga Akpabio was the deputy state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Professor Inoka was a lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt.
Sir Ibanga Akpabio, a Lawyer and Victor Daniel Bassey Inoka, a Professor and Lawyer, hail from Essien Udim and Oruk Anam Local Government Areas of the state respectfully.
All other commissioners and Special Advisers retain their previous posts.
