Eminence Oil Empowers More Women, Youths
The Managing Director of Eminence Oil & Chemicals Limited, Mr Emmanuel Okon, over the weekend, returned to Nsit Atai in continuation of his massive empowerment of women and youths of the area.
The event which took place at his country home, Ikot Itie Udung witnessed a massive turnout of women and youths from Nsit Atai ward 5 who count their blessings as their illustrious son, Mr Emmanuel Okon came to their aid.
In his remarks, Mr Emmanuel Okon who holds the celebrated title of ‘Ambassador of empowerment’ in Nsit Atai with an unbeatable record of empowerment ever done by an individual in the history of the local government said he is committed to make his people in Nsit Atai feel the positive impact of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration.
According to him, it is in keeping with his promise to ensure that everybody in Nsit Atai benefits from Governor Udom Emmanuel, and to effectively represent the governor in Nsit Atai by putting smiles on their faces as the governor himself would have done
He maintained that it is not everybody that will have access to the governor, and his duty is to represent those who don’t have access to the governor and stand in for the governor by doing those things the people expect from their governor.
Mr Okon recalled that penultimate Sunday; he started the distribution of wrappers to women across the entire ward, and used the opportunity to announce skill acquisition training for all youths will to learn trade.
The MD of Eminence Oil also expressed his readiness to extend the empowerment programme to other local government areas within Uyo Federal Constituency.
The elated women who gathered full of expectations to go home with gift items took time to dance around to show their happiness, and thanked the women for keeping faith with Governor Udom Emmanuel whom he described as a God sent leader for Akwa Ibom State.
He solicits for more support for the governor and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come December 2nd, 2019, and beyond, adding that more good things will come their way as they stand with PDP and Governor Udom Emmanuel.
