AKISAN Award On Nsima Ekere, A Misplaced Priority
After my unfortunate abduction and unwarranted arrest of recent orchestrated by hired cat paws of Mr Nsima Ekere, I had decided to deeply reflect on my opinions against this fellow whom many have warned me in secret and in the open to be weary of for his primordial meanness against his critics. No doubt desperate people do desperate things, but I am yet to see a man as desperate as Mr Nsima Ekere becoming my governor come 2019.
Borrowing the words of distinguished Senator James Udoedehe while describing Obong Umana Okon Umana in his recent rebuttals.
“There is no art to find the mind’s construction on the face. The renowned author was as philosophical as he was factual in this submission, because the faces does not necessarily describe the individual; just as Umana’s (Nsima’s) sober-a-monk-in-meditation face bellies the fact that he possesses the heart of a savage” – SEN James Udoedehe.
Only a savage would have paid the police so much to arrest an innocent man, then hide him,by telling inquisitive family members and friends that I was not at their custody for more than 24 hours. Only a savage could do that. No doubt too many are afraid to write against Mr Nsima Ekere for fear of his federal might and character. It’s at seasons like this that the clamour for state policing gets my endorsement, for it’s no longer a secret that the APC federal government seeks to use the security outfits available to clamp down on PDP loyalist in Akwa Ibom state so they could pave the way for savages like Mr Nsima Ekere to become governor without recourse to popular demand.
I have stumbled on the misplaced award to be given to Nsima Ekere by Akwa Ibom State Association Of Nigeria (USA) Inc- AKISAN, and the numerous conspiracy of error on their programme of event. As one who has no goodwill remaining for the desperado since last week for the convention; it would not have been out of place to heap all angst against this dreamer yet it’s obvious that the rider can never ride the horse except the horse allows the rider. If there is any one to disparage on the Atlanta loomimg saga, it’s the leadership of AKISAN. Like late Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory would satirically tout, a lizard in Nigeria can never become an alligator or crocodile in America. That’s exactly what has befallen our poor ,hungry, two to three jobs brethren in Atlanta. They can’t have enough to hold on to their integrity no matter the stupendous financial inducement from embezzled common wealth of undisbursed 15milion 2016 Akwa Ibom Youth Christmas largesse. What a shame. Money the NDDC czar has pocketed since December last year without a dime to those poor youths.
1) Now is the award to be given to Mr Nsima Ekere, an applause for not giving Akwa Ibom Youths their N15 million share since December last year?
2) Is the award a commendation for killing a youth(John Christopher Inyang) and exterminating the lad from mother earth at infancy and leaving same to rot at the mortuary, amidst family outrage?
3) Is the award an applause for saliently sponsoring legal and illegal abductors of opposing apologists?
You know some who leave outside (abroad) seem to have this false sense of superiority, yet Cameroon is also abroad. It’s this false sense of value that makes the leadership of AKISAN to imagine they can spite constitutionally elected representatives of our dear state and their decisions. Running to America, does not make any man or woman special,it’s staying here and changing lives that really counts. You don’t stay over there and attempt to disparage us,you are only as valuable as we make room for your fleeing presence,so respect us and our elected officials.
The decision of the Akwa Ibom State government to boycott the madness and politics in uncommon places as ambushed in AKISAN is highly commendable and endorsed by every well thinking individuals. Stew in your shame alone. Even Umana Umana is addressed as His Excellency, just to cover for the other desperate Excellency. Only ill intent causes such errors in a revered organisation. A butterfly thinking itself a bird, abi?
If AKISAN was self sponsored, without politicians peanuts and inducement of greed, what has befallen them today would have been avoided. Ubuene obio mbakara, edia ata ndok.
