Udo Udoma Renounces APC, Says He’s Just An Appointee, Not A Member
The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Udoma Udo Udoma, has disowned the All Progressives Congress (APC), telling the party that he is not their member, rather an appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Udoma made the renouncement while speaking to journalists at the APC National Headquarters on Thursday in Abuja, of the party, after a long meeting with the members of National Working Committee of the APC where he briefed them on the state of the economy.
Asked to confirm the allegations that he said he was not a member of APC, the Minister said, “I am a member of an APC administration.”
The APC National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, wanted to parry the question by a journalist but the Minister ignored him and said that was only an appointee of the party.
