Gov Emmanuel Flags Off Ring Roads 2 & 3 Dualisation In Uyo
Governor Udom Emmanuel has flagged off the dualisation of Ring Road 2 and Ring Road 3 in Uyo, the state capital.
The Governor who was represented by Honourable Commissioner for Works, Ephraim Akparawa Inyang, performed the brief ceremony to signal the start of work on those two key roads in the state.
Ring Road 2 is the continuation of Udo Udoma by the Aka Road Junction and terminates at Abak Road while Ring Road 3 is the 9.8km road which is the continuation of Jonathan Boulevard from Aka Road down to Nwaniba Road.
The Governor noted that the decision to construct these ring roads was to open up the state capital and link it to the bigger road network in the state.
He stressed that his government is very focused and will do all it can to make life more meaningful to Akwa Ibom people.
